150400-23 causes workstations to freeze

I've recently had problems with some older systems (Sunblade 100/150) that hang after installation of this patch.  I applied the 150400-24 patch to see if it corrected the problem with no success.   I know this equipment is unsupported, but I can only run our software on sparc workstations so am stuck with these older boxes for now.  Has anyone had experiences with systems hanging after this patch was applied?
