Leap Year, Daily Depreciation Calculation

I am trying to setup straight line deprecation for daily rate calculation, As per functional requirement  rate should be calculated by formula given below

Daily depreciation  = Cost/ Number of days in Asset life

So depending of DPIS and asset life number of days could be different due to leap year

When oracle calculates daily depreciation it’s taking flat 365 days in one year so daily rate calculated by oracle does not match with requirements. We are currently on 12.1.3, Any suggestion how can we update setup so system start calculation daily per our requirements. 

Current setup :

Depreciation calendar  : 12 period one for each month
