Has anyone had problems with fndext.jar on 12.2.3?

We've successfully integrated 12.1.3 and ADF using fndext.jar. Now that we're trying in 12.2.3 we're getting a null pointer exception when AppsRequestWrapper is called. It looks like the request parament is causing it to blow up. The request value in 12.2.3 looks completely different than 12.1.3.
