Swap usage is high as per OEM alert

Hello,

In our production DB servers, swap usage as per OEM alert is high through the day.

However, While checking via top, oswatcher report, it shows complete swap is free.

We are not actually experiencing a performance issue because of this swap. However, we have been observing high swap usage. Also don't see any process causing this.

However while checking swap command :

root@aubkbldbp01:~# swap -s -h

total: 27G allocated + 30G reserved = 57G used, 3.9G available

I would need your advice on below points :

1). Whats is actually this reserved swap?

2). Do we really need to reserve swap? Can I free this swap for actual use for DB ?

Howdy, Stranger!
