Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. SHMMAX value in HP-UX 11.31

Hi,

Can anyone advice value of SHMMAX parameter in hp-ux 11.31. I mean same as Total physical RAM available or what?

I have assigned 16GB which is our servers total RAM , and memory target set it to 10GB. Now i have to create one more database.

Please advice.
