MSG-00011: for user exit failure for one of our custom reports

Hi there.

We are in the process to upgrade to R12.2.4 and one of custom reports got error:MSG-00011: for user exit failure.  Here is the detail:

-  This report is working in 11i well

-  This report is copied from POXPRPOP (Printed Purchase Orders Report (Poitrait) and the only difference is the output format.

-  The error is from one of the program units which is not a part of customization: UPDATE_PRINT_DATE_COUNT and the seeded Oracle report has exactly the same code

-  The code in the program unit in question is following:

               update po_releases pr

               set pr.printed_date = sysdate,
