Can Warranty Items Only be used on the 1st Level of a Bill of Material Item?

Hi Jos

Can you please answer my question :- Is it mandatory to have warranty item on 1st level of BOM of shippable/IB trackable item ? In our case, we have warranty item on BOM, but at 2 or 3rd level in BOM. In such cases (2,3 level) after parent item is shipped, warranty is not enabled for it. But for Items where warranty is there in it's BOM at 1st level, it's getting enabled
