The provider GL period for the reversing entry is closed

Hi All-

One of our users uploaded some accruals, a handful of which failed due to the above-referenced error. We can't re-open the provider GL period, so I'm wondering if anyone has seen this and if so, how to proceed. We actually have our Projects GL and PA periods all open in the current year, though the only open GL period is JUN-15. These are April accruals.

I couldn't find any direct hits on support or anywhere else so any guidance would be most welcome.
