BRM Module Installation: Installing PS10 module on top of an existing PS10 installation

We have a BRM installation with 15 modules, all in PS10 already.

We now see we need GSM Manager module also, which wansn't installed at the time.

Will it work if I install "GSM Manager PS10" installer on top of the existing PS10 installation? Is it "not recommended?"

The question is in general, not for this specific module and PS version.

The alternative I'm trying to avoid is to install everything from scratch and then apply all PS10 versions individually.
