i have been trying to rename a database (was once a standby DB, converted to standalone), encountered an error:

NID-00111: Oracle error reported from target database while executing

    begin       dbms_backup_restore.nidprocessdf(:fno, :istemp, :skipped, :idchged,                                        :nmchged);    end;

ORA-01116: error in opening database file +dat_buatbrm

ORA-17503: ksfdopn:2 Failed to open file +dat_buatbrm

ORA-15045: ASM file name '+dat_buatbrm' is not in reference form

ORA-06512: at "SYS.X$DBMS_BACKUP_RESTORE", line 6694

ORA-06512: at line 1

Reverting and re-running the NID tool after numerous DB restarts give me:

Connected to database PRDBRM (DBID=3575077507)

NID-00135: There are 1 active threads

Howdy, Stranger!
