Can we stop sending actual shipments of trips to otm that are not planned in OTM

Business Case: We donot send few orders from EBS to OTM for planning. However when we are running shipping outbound interface program for sending actual shipments, all trips (planned and not planned by OTM) are going to OTM. We donot want to send trips that are not planned by OTM. Is there any way we can stop these trips from sending actual shipments.

Appreciate your thoughts on this case.
