sudoers file on NFS unreadable by sudo with new recommended patches

Hi.  Our sudoers file is NFS-(auto-)mounted.  This setup works fine for AIX/HP-UX/Solaris throughout the enterprise.

The sudoers file is not readable after installing Solaris recommended patches dated May14 2015.

The sudoers file is not readable after updating to Oracle Solaris 11 11.2.8.4.0 (SRU), packaging date February 27, 2015.

Error received: "input in flex scanner failed"

Tried building a new version of sudo, received same error.

Thanks for any assistance you can provide.
