Hundreds of Refresh Case Folder Data Program requests being submitted

Hello,

Customer on 11.5.10.2 is experiencing the issue where hundreds of Refresh Case Folder Data Program requests are getting submitted

Steps followed:
1. Booked an order with 5 lines. first four were CTO model lines and 5 line was a service item line.
2. After booking when i processed the first line. 143 Refresh Case folder requests were submitted with one case_folder_id 314334.

And the total lines in the order (including top model and option lines) were 148

They have credit rule at ordering and Purchase Release/Picking stage set at the transaction type

Questions:

Why are so many requests of the program getting submitted?

How to stop them?
