DFF missing on Contact Role information post upgrade

We are upgrading from 11i to R12.2.4 and in our Customer form, we have a DFF enabled for the Contact Role Information DFF. After we upgraded to R12.2.4 we are not seeing the DFF  on the OA page when we try to add a new role for the contact. However, if we query for an existing Contact , we are able to see the DFF displayed for the Contact Role information

Can you please advise what can be the reason and fix for the same?
