Cannot update Bank Account Number

Dear all Guru's,

 

i want to update Bank Account Number for supplier, but when i click save , error message was occur :

"Please enter a maximum of 12 characters for the Account Number"

 

then i try to find other supplier that the account number length more than 12 character and i found it. i continue exploring the issue and i found this document :

from the documents i have found that for several country has bank account validation, one of the country was Italy and the supplier country that i want to update are from Italy.
