Reverse Employee Confirmation in HRMS

Dear Oracle GURUs,

I have an issue regarding the confirmation of an employee when user has extended the probation for same.Below is summarized detail of the issue.

1) Employee's probation was ending on 30-Apr-2015,manager from manager self service extended the probation for employee for next 3 months and got email as a result of oracle alert at around 6 pm on 30-Apr-2015.

2) Again manager got an email alert of employee confirmation around 11:30 pm due to lack of any input.

3) Its very strange scenario,user has extended the probation and its successfully extended.I have also checked self service history tables and found the probation was successfully extended as per data available.But still employee for confirmed.
