Siebel Server bounce Process

Hi All,

In many places I have read  restarting the siebel server need to maintain a the specific order.

During shutdown we need maintain following order -Webserver , siebel server and gateway server

And during starting we need to follow the reverse sequence.

My question is 'Is the sequence really important?'

Please let me know if we do not follow this sequence what could be the affect.
