Is it possible to change the versions that an Advance Query is for?

Is it possible to change the versions that an Advance Query is for? I didn't see this in the available documentation. Are there complications that would arise from doing this that I'm missing that would make it difficult for this to work. Specifically it would be nice to have an advanced query available for all versions of an application.
