Change column data type and sort in Data Model

Hi,

The "Data Type" and "Sort Order"options are grayed out in column properties for data sets in Data Model. I need to know if it is what it is or there's something related to my BIP configurations.

Oracle BI Publisher 11.1.1.7.1  (build:20130607.0623) on Solaris
