Patching Procedure for Guest LDOMs (failover) and Control Domain in SunCluster

Hi All,

I would like to find out what is the best practise to patch my guest domains and control domain in a SunCluster environment. (Guest Ldoms can failover Control Domain)

 

Patching by using traditional method of booting into single user? (Seems like there’s something needed to be done on the cluster before I can boot the guest domain into single user)

Or by using luupgrade? ( And can luupgrade be used in the cluster environment)

Do you have a document from Oracle on patching guest ldoms in cluster environment?
