How to get Python 3 installed on Oracle Linux 7

Hello,  I am very new to Linux and am having trouble finding how to get Python 3 installed on Oracle Linux 7.    I have a million questions and seems like I get stuck at every step.  Is this the right place to ask those questions?     I did eventually get it installed from the binaries from python but I could not get idle to launch, some error about the wrong version of TK.  So I think I need to go back and see if I can find it packaged in an rpm through yum but I don't know how to do

Howdy, Stranger!
