po approval notification Response Note field in response section

Hello,

We are upgradingh to 12.1.3 from 12.0.6 and notice a new field in the PO approval notification of 'Response Note' in addition to the 'Note' field.

also I've notice that the 'Note' field is being populated from the PO approval form (first approving the PO) but afterwards only the field of 'Response Note' is being recored in the action history.

What is the 'Note' field functionality? is it only to disaply the approver Note first approving the PO from the PO approval form.

Is the 'Response Note' field is the field that users should write their comments when approving or rejecting or forwarding the PO?
