Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Field Service - EBS (MOSC)

Integrating olite on RHEL 4 with EBS 11i running on RHEL 5

HI Everyone,

our Oracle Olite and Mobile field Service (MFS) is installed on the same server. Olite is one piece of software that is causing us to stay on RHEL4.

can extract Olite out of EBS nodes and install it on separate servers. Because if we could, then we can move to RHEL5 or even RHEL6 for our EBS?

I found a note 1609242.1 that says it can be done, although it refers to R12. I am hoping that we could do that for 11i as well.
