Orders not going on hold even after putting customer account on credit hold

Hi All,

We have put a customer account on credit check and credit hold, but finance team was still able to book an order and generate an invoice. There was no hold placed on the order. I tried with putting the customer  only on credit hold, but still orders are getting booked without an issue. We are putting the credit hold on bill to customer but still there is no impact. Can you please advise why credit hold is not working. Is there anything else that needs to be done.
