price change on top of clearance

Hi all,

A clarification on flow of price from RPM to RMS:

Suppose there is an ongoing clearance on an item/location. Now, if we create price change on top of this clearance, will it flow to PRICE_HIST table on its effective date?

i.e. will a new record with tran_type = 4 will be inserted into price_hist table or not? or only on reset of clearance it will be inserted? Please let me know if you have an answer.
