Issue with EAS after SQL database migration

Hi

I have just run through the EPM configurator to repoint all outr products (RA, EAS & HSS) to new SQL2008 databases which are direct copies of the old SQL2005 ones, and although I CAN log into Essbase & retrieve data, I cannot log into EAS ("login failed")


The messages I am getting in the log files are as follows:

easserver.txt:

[EssbaseAdminServices0] [ERROR] [ESSEAS-35505] [oracle.epm.essbase.eas] [tid: 19] [userId: ] [ecid: 0000KrwOrZrAdLG5uzK6yX1LW1C7000002,0] [APP: EAS#11.1.2.0] Following Exception occurred for user 324346. Message exception is External authentication is not available

and in EssbaseAdminServices0.txt, this message appears to be very common:
