Customer Master record autoduplicated?
This is my first post to the community.. so please be kind.
(I wasn't sure which space to select because I did not see JDE Enterprise One Sales Order Management as a space... and not sure if this would fall under "Finance".)
Here's the question:
I have a new user who created a customer master record, when doing so, it looks as though a second duplicate record was created simultaneously. The "second" record created has a different Company Number. (see attached). I have no idea how this happened. I'm pretty sure they didn't accidentally click the copy icon.
I've been creating customer records for many years, and have never this occur. I've looked through the databrowser - Table F03012 - but don't any field values that look too suspicious. I'm hoping there's a simple explanation... and that I've just been lucky enough in life that I haven't encountered the problem before.
