Is there a way to save the boomerang file In JDE 8.11 to get the objects converted for JDE 9.1?

We would like save the boomerang file in 8.11 so that we can convert the objects for 9.1 since we are in the middle of upgrading to 9.1. Please let me know if there is a way. Thank You
