Suppress viewing but allow output to be saved?

Is there a way to prevent the output of a concurrent request from being viewed but allow the file to be saved to a directory? When we run the "Format Payment Instructions with Text Options" request, it creates a file that is placed in a directory for transmittal to the bank, but the output is also viewable under "View Requests". We don't want it to be viewed. We've tried removing the "Save" and/or "Print" output options under Define Concurrent Programs in Sys Admin, but this also prevents the file from being saved to the directory. Any suggestions?
