Manage Attachment Security on OAF pages

Hi All,

We are on R12 and we want to use attachments at the customer account level (OAF pages) to store some critical information. We want to be able to achieve the following:

  1. Option to have the attachments available in inquiry/view only mode.
  2. Option to hide/mask certain type (specific categories) of attachments from the page by user/responsibility
  3. Option to remove the update/delete icon in the attachments page to prevent modifications to attachments associated with customer


I couldn't find any option to meet this on the OAF pages. I did define custom attachment functions (429360.1) with required privileges but that didn't work on the OAF pages. It appears to be working only for forms. Any suggestions/customization ideas?
