How does 'copy heirarchy' work in Position Heirarchy window ?

Hello,

N : Purchasing Super User :Setup : Personnel : Position Heirarchy

Now query the hierarchy you wish to copy and click on the button 'Copy Hierarchy' a new window pops up with Name and Number fields greyed out. when i click 'copy' button nothing happens.

Am I doing anything wrong.

I am trying to copy an existing heirarchy into a new hierarchy and then add some approvers to it.

However it does not seem to work.

Please explain how can i use the 'Copy Heirarchy' button.
