Batches created from each journal

Hi Guys,

We are experiencing an issue.

We are processing depreciation charges for the month using the autocopy function from the previous journal entry.

Now this is one batch with thousands of journals within it. So when the journal goes to the approver, they just have to approve that one batch and not individual journals.

When we performed the autocopy and submitted it, the system produced thousands of batches, created from each journal, how is this possible?

Previous months was only one batch had to be approved.

Can someone please assist.
