Purge programs BOMCPCFG - CTOPURGE

I am planning to execute some clean up but I do not have clear the difference between these 2 Purge programs:

BOMCPCFG - Purge Configurations

CTOPURGE - Purge Configuration Items


Both have similar parameters:

BOMCPCFG:  (I do not see it on any BOM menu - Needed to add it)

  Organization Code 

  Base Model Item

  Items Created days ago

  Last Referenced Days Ago

  Configuration Item

CTOPURGE:  (Under ATO Menu)

Items Created days ago

Last Referenced Days Ago

Configuration Item

Base Model

Option Item

Are both programs purging same data on BOM_ATO_CONFIGURATIONS?  We are on 12.1.3
