Vanilla UCM Process Merge Request

Hi Experts,

Can you please help me clarify whether Vanilla UCM Process Merge Request Workflow would delete the Source Customer Record after performing Merge or does it just sets the Source Customer record to Merged Status but the record is not deleted from Database.
