Anyone have setup the Oracle configruation manager ? expecially disconnected mode ?

Dear all,

  we are looking some advise on current database situation, is it a good idea to setup the Oracle configuration manager to receive health recommendations ?

Since our organization does not support direct connection from the data zone to vendors, does anyone have experience related to the disconnection mode config and setup?
