Microsoft desupport for Internet Explorer - Oracle's Stance

Back in April last year, Microsoft de-supported Windows XP, and so Oracle followed suit.

In Jan 2016 Microsoft will cease support for all but the most recent IE browser on each platform (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/gp/microsoft-internet-explorer). As a result, things like IE 8 on Windows 7 will no longer be supported by Microsoft. I have not seen a statement from Oracle regarding this, but some of our customers are concerned. Can anyone tell me if Oracle has made a statement about the desupport of IE browsers (and point me to the relevant document), or confirm (with only 6 months to go), that there will be no change in the Oracle support model, despite Microsoft no longer supporting them ?
