Deleting Members in Hyperion Planning 11

Hi,

Is a database refresh required when you delete planning dimension members? I understand that when you make changes (add/edits to dimensions and members) to the planning outline a refresh is required, but I couldn't find anywhere in the hyperion planning admin guide explicitly saying deleting members require a refresh.  Isn't deleting a member essentially modifying the outline too?
