Are there instructions for running OEM agent and Weblogic as separate users?

Has anyone seen clear directions on how to deploy the Weblogic management pack features of OEM when the agent and Weblogic are running as separate OS accounts?

The documentation seems to assume that the OEM agent and Weblogic server will be running as the same user. However my team often runs multiple Weblogic instances on a single machine, using separate user accounts for each instance.

I've had no end of trouble activating the Middleware Diagnostics Agent, accessing the support workbench, downloading diagnostic data, etc. In an ideal world, OEM would make it clear which user account was needed when prompting for credentials. It's never clear whether I need credentials for the OEM agent account or the Weblogic service account. Also on the wish-list: when something goes wrong, OEM could give specific information about what didn't work. This is in contrast to messages like "PDP execution may have failed". Great, and I may know how to troubleshoot that! (Spoiler alert: I don't. How about some error
