Siebel Server installation - Multiple instance

Hi Experts,

We have a requirement to do Hardware refresh with new environment without disturbing existing environment.

The challenge here is, client wants to use the same IP address/HostName which are currently used in existing environment (Dev/Testing/Prod).

So we thought of doing the installation in following manner.

1. Install and Configure Siebel Server with Temporary IP/HostName.

2. Once the things are done, Shutdown the existing environment (Dev/Testing/Prod).

3. Replace the Temporary IP/HostName with Original IP/HostName (Dev/Testing/Prod), means install/Configure with xyz ip address and replace to correct ip address).

Can someone show light on this approach, What are the steps we have to perform after change the IP address?
