How to change a warning (yellow) error to a hard (red) error in E1?

When entering the Pay Grade Step field in the P0801CMP, I would receive a warning (yellow) error if the Pay Grade Step is invalid, but I still have the ability to save the invalid Pay Grade Step, which causes inaccuracies with my time entry and payroll. Does any have procedures on changing a warning (yellow) error to a hard (red) error in E1?
