Upgrade Oracle Database 11.2.0.3 to Oracle 12c along with migration from Filesystem to ASM.

Hi All,

We've been asked to upgrade few our systems from Oracle Database 11.2.0.3 to Oracle 12c along with migration from Filesystem to ASM.

Would like to know what approach should we follow,

1. Upgrade Database from 11.2.0.3 to 12c & in later stage migrate from FS to ASM.

2. Upgrade Database  from 11.2.0.3 to 12c & migrate from FS to ASM at the same time.

3. Migrate from FS to ASM & later upgrade DB from 11.2.0.3 to 12c.

Appreciate if you can guide on best approach from above or any other suggestions are welcome. Thanks in advance.

Please note, all database are currently running on AIX 7.1 & normal file system.
