Startup and shutdown scripts in R12.2

We are using R12.2.4 and i know i can use flat file to get password for apps user when i shutdown or startup(/admin/scripts/adstpall.sh apps/$APPSPWD ) ,however i tried to do same thing for Weblogic server(/admin/scripts/adstpall.sh apps/$APPSPWD $WLSPWD), but not working, is there anyway to hide weblogic password or give directly adstartall.sh apps/$APPSPWD $WLSPWD(weblogicpassword)
