IBM zS: Storage Violation when calling SP

We have a problem when a ProCobol program calls a stored procedure (4,000) bytes - it bleeds into program storage causing a Storage Violation. We reduced the size of the parameter and it works. Our ProCobol compiler version is 10.2.0. - any help would be appreciated!
