Oracle Offline Mediation Controller...Does JDBC DC Cartridge has Update Functionality???

Hi all,

               I want if the oracle offline mediation controller JDBC Distribution Cartridge has update functionality in it.We all know jdbc dc node performs insertion into the Database.

               But i want to know if update is possible???

               suggestion are most Welcome
