BSSV Causing Interactive ApplicaTION Timeout

We have a custom consumer BSSV, it looks to be working fine when tested from in JDeveloper. When we call the BSFN which triggers BSSV from an application , the app crashes out. But when we look into logs we can see that the payload is sent successfully to the service and response message "successfully / failure" was also received. when I run the same BSFN from an UBE it works fine and has no issues. I am suspecting that it might be the application timeout setting on server which are causing the APP to crash out before the response
