Usage of "ATP PRE-Scheduling Hook"

Environment: Centralized Environment

VCP: 12.2.4

Business Scenario:

We have a scenario wherein we need to modify the CRD prior to ATP Call.

CRD present in the sales order line, needs to be modified with 'x' number of days before carrying out with an ATP check (ATP Plan).

So the ATP check would be carried out on the revised date = CRD-'x' days

Example: CRD = 20/SEP/15

'x' = 10 days

ATP availability check to be carried out on = 20/SEP/15 - 10 days = 10/SEP/15

Due to a limitation in the process we cannot modify the CRD hence want to use the "ATP PRE-Scheduling Hook".
