Mass Update of Usage_rate_or_Amount field in CST_ITEM_COST_DETAILS table

Is there any way to do a mass update of cost elements for a specific cost type for specific items via the EBS interface?  For many items, the usage_rate_or_amount field has > 7 digits behind the decimal point.  We would like to update those items to only include 5 digits behind the decimal point.  We use the open interfaces for mass updates to item attributes.  I'm wondering if there is an open interface or something available for mass updates to an element of a specific cost type (not Frozen) for specific items.
