complex Zpool configuration (add to a singled vdev a mirror of two vdevs) ?

Hellow fellows:

I have storage from two SANs:

SAN00 (HDS AMS500)

SAN01 (HDS VSP from and AMS2300)

Recently we are having issues from SAN01 and my boos decided migrated the content of the zpools based on SAN01 to zpools based on SAN00.

Sounds easy add a mirror to the zpool and then remove the mirror that came from SAN01; and presto!

But as you can guest isn't to so easy:

  1. first the SAN00 maximum lun size is 2047.5 GB (yes not 2048). so as soon I type the zpool attach rpool504 c6t60060E8006D373000000D3730000002Fd0 c6t60060E80102A05400479091400000007d0 it says device is too small.
