Is Oracle Database version 12.1.0.2 is stable for Production env with EBS12.2

Hi All,

We are planning to implement EBS12.2.4 in Oracle Database version 11.2.0.4.. But After January 2016 The Platinum support will end for 11.2.0.4.. and extended support will start.
Is it the right decisions if we upgrade the Database from 11.2.0.4 to 12.1.0.2 ..?

Shall we go with oracle extended support..? or upgrade the database version...?

What will be the licencing part..shall we have to purchase another licence or we have to some delta part ...
Is there any EBS(12.2.4) Production env running on  database version 12.1.0.2  without any major issues..?
