Can Essbase Integration Services (EIS 11.1.2.1) work with Essbase server 11.1.2.4?

Hello,

We are looking into the option of upgrading from EPM 11.1.2.1 to EPM 11.1.2.4. Because EIS will not be shipped with the latest Hyperion EPM version (11.1.2.4), is it possible to keep EIS 11.1.2.1 installed and upgrade the rest of EPM products to 11.1.2.4?

In other words, can we use EIS 11.1.2.1 to build Essbase 11.1.2.4 ASO outline to provide drill through capability with Excel Add-in?
